Rosa Flores was born in the Philippines and grew up in Waipio Gentry on the island of Oahu. She graduated from Punahou School and earned a B.A. in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing from the University of Hawaii`i at Manoa, and a minor in History. She then attended William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawai`i at Manoa, earning her Juris Doctor degree. Upon passing the Hawai`i State Bar Exam after graduation, she moved to Kauai and spent the next six years there working for the County of Kauai as both a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney and Deputy County Attorney. She then entered private practice and for another six years practiced criminal defense and family law, along with a few immigration and estate planning matters.
Having now returned to her home in Oahu, she has expanded her practice to Kapolei. She will continue to focus on family law cases, immigration petitions and applications, and simple wills and trusts. She continues to practice on Kauai as well, and looks forward to serving clients on both islands.
